In this research, Summer Sports Schools participating in Konya / Eregli district of socio-economic status of students in 7-17 age group was conducted to investigate the factors driving and sports. The data were obtained through questionnaires. The questionnaire was tested for validity and reliability. The scale reliability coefficient alpha = 0.95 was found to be complete. Surveyed 175 boys, 115 girls, total of 290 students participated. The frequency distributions of the data recorded by the researcher were analyzed using SPSS 5.0 statistical package program. Of the research, Konya / Eregli 'summer sports schools students participating in sports, socio-economic factors that influence and capitalize understood to differ statistically. As a result of the evaluations, the summer school students participating in sports tend to concentrate in groups 7-8 years, students participating in summer sports schools in the women (39.7%) men (60.3%) is less than the contribution. Compliance with conditions related to the sport because of the culture of the city (district), sporting behavior pattern (93.1%) high level. The vast majority of the students participating in summer sports schools are receiving education in Government Primary Schools (39.7%). Summer Sports School students participating in the economic income of families in the middle level (67.9%) was found. Summer school students participating in sports, socio-economic structure, depending on the direction of their participation in sport is highly supported by their families (94.1%). Parents of students participating in summer sports schools sports and social circles, being a majority of those who turn to the individual sport played an important role in the observed (96.6%). To encourage participation in sports, mass media, sports facilities, state, sports clubs and schools to work in this direction, the family education level, physical education teachers and sports coaches to encourage the role of the press-release, appears to be the factors affecting participation in sports activity vehicles.
