The Researching of the Aggressiveness Level of Amateur Football Players
Abstract
This research aimed to study the level of aggressiveness of the amateur footballers. The sample of this research includes 223 amateur football players from 13 teams chosen from first Amateur League Super Group and first Amateur League A and B groups by coincidental sample in Konya in 2007 – 2008 seasons.
In this research, as means of collecting datum; “Aggressiveness Inventory” developed by İpek İlter (Kiper, 1984) and personal information form developed by the researcher are used. In the analysis of the datum, for binary league comparison according to normal test, for comparison of three or more league a one way variation analysis is used; to determine the source of differences that regarded meaningful by the result of one way variation analysis, because the variations are homogeneous, Tukey HSD multiple comparison test is used. In this research, the level of being meaningful is regarded as 0.05.
At the conclusion of the research; Aggressiveness level of footballers is usually at the middle level; the point average belonging to inferior dimension and total of the aggressiveness of footballers were not found significant differences at the meaningful level according to the varieties of their age, their position, their educational level, their parents income; it is determined that boldness aggressiveness inferior dimension point average differs at the meaningful level according to the period they play.
