Serdar Büyükipekçi, Halil Taşkın

Abstract

In this study, to investigate the changes of the reaction time, agility, and anaerobic performance during the season was women's volleyball player. Research, Erciyes University Youth and Sports Volleyball Club team total of 14 volunteers took part in sports. Measurements were taken preparation period prior to the preparation period after the contest period, and between competition period, then about to be, height, body weight, reaction time, anaerobic power test, agility test, 2009-2010 season 3 in the league to fight a team of players. The data was tested show normal distribution by One-Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. Data was used variance - covariance structure Mauchly's test for stability. The measurements were used for the detection of differences between the multivariate and the Test of Within - Subject Effect tests. In this study, the level was taken of error as α = 0.05. Volleyball players participated in the research of the agility metrics to compare the values 1 Measurements with 2 Between measurements, anaerobic power values Watts / kg for the comparison of measurements on 1 4th measurement Between measurements, the comparison of measurements on auditory reaction time, 1 Measurements with 2 and 3. A statistically significant difference between the measurements was found (P <0.05). Multiple variables related to agility, whereas the comparison of measurements 1 measurement with 3 and 4. The differences between the measurement and comparison of multiple measurements on auditory reaction time 1 4th measurement. There was no statistically significant differences between measurements (P> 0.05). As a result, taken at different times of volleyball players, weight, visual reaction time, agility and anaerobic power were observed and no significant differences in measured values. Volleyball important determinant of performance, anaerobic power and agility seems to differ substantially between the periods.

Key Words: Anaerobic Performance, Agility, Reaction Time, Volleyball
